Where we come from:

In 2014 HumanX started its business by developing and producing bespoke preoperative training models. Our award winning models are used prior to complex and difficult surgical procedures. We use our knowledge from hundreds of clinical cases to develop tailored training systems for many different surgical procedures in education and training.

Today HumanX is one of the leading suppliers of individual medical training models and simulators. A highly specialized team of engineers, biosystems technicians, special effect artists and model builders develops and manufactures products tailored to the customer's specific needs. Our simulators are used internationally in the entire spectrum of medical education and training.

Our products give physicians the opportunity to practice planned procedures on a replica of their patient preoperatively. This helps to minimize risks, reduce operating times and save costs.

Both medical students and physicians in advanced training benefit from our realistic training systems and simulators. A lifelike look and feel combined with realistic functionality enables intensive training in almost any environment, without the need for a wetlab.

By using our products at trade fairs, congresses and sales events, new medical products can be presented in a user-oriented setup. Compared to human or animal cadavers, our models are not subject to regulatory requirements. The optional addition of virtual or augmented reality content adds value to all our models.

Our motivation

From our own family experience, we know how high the expectations addressed to the surgeon are before an operation. On the other hand, we have seen how difficult it is for the patient to walk in pain with an missfitting prosthesis. Based on a 3D model we developed, it became clear that revision surgery was necessary. After many years, the patient can now walk again without pain. It's stories like these that drive us to develop more ideas and services to support both medical teams and patients.
